MPAL PizzaFest
Cops. Kids. Pizza. Community.
Manchester Police Athletic League is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization preparing kids for success by providing free confidence-building programs and increasing positive interactions with the law enforcement community.
At noon on Thursday, February 29 (during February School Vacation) MPAL kids and Officers from Manchester Police Department and Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will gather at MPAL to sample pizza from local restaurants and cast their votes for the best pies in town. Awards fit for display will be presented.
To enter for a chance to win awards and the appreciation of local law enforcement and kids alike:
- Make a $150 tax-deductible donation to Manchester Police Athletic League as an entry fee.
- Commit to donating SIX 16” pizzas, each cut into 16 mini-slices for sampling:
- Three 16” Cheese
- Three 16” specialty pizzas of your choice (three of the same variety)
- Commit to delivering your entries to MPAL at 409 Beech St. (entrance on Lake Avenue side of building) between 11:30 and 11:45 AM on Thursday, February 29.
All participating restaurants will be highlighted on MPAL’s social media and are invited to provide signage and promotional material to be displayed / distributed at the event.
Winners in each of the categories will be promoted as reigning champions in next year’s event promotions.
While winners will be announced at the event, it is not required to be present. Awards will be delivered in person the week of March 4.
