The Futures program initiative is a prevention and intervention strategy designed to connect youth with community support and positive peer interaction resulting in a reduction of high-risk behavior.
Futures is a long-term program that embraces the values of respect, responsibility, accountability and the importance of giving back in hopes of creating healthy confident, and productive members of society.
The goal of the Futures program is to engage high-risk youth in an environment of care where positive relationships are built and life skills are enhanced creating pathways to success. This is a referral-only program for youth ages 10 and up. Youth participate in weekly skill-building classes and are eligible to earn a week of outings over summer break.
