The Manchester Police Athletic League (MPAL) operations and programs are blossoming this spring thanks to a grant from the Norwin S. and Elizabeth N. Bean Foundation. This grant will assist MPAL with the addition of enrichment and educational summer programs for Manchester youth ages 5 through 18 while also supporting development initiatives over the coming year. These program additions and operational changes will stretch MPAL’s reach to more Greater Manchester youth and connect them with positive mentoring in a safe structured environment.

There was no shortage of electricity, in the packed to capacity Alpine Club, for the Longchamps sponsored spaghetti dinner. The Longchamps team prepared and served a delicious spaghetti dinner as well as created an atmosphere of giving with raffles and silent auction items. MPAL would like to send out a great big “THANKS” to Longchamps Electric, attendees, and corporate/individual sponsors who made this evening incredibly successful. Your contributions will help the Manchester Police Athletic League continue to provide a free, safe, structured environment for at risk youth. The outpouring of generosity was overwhelming and deeply appreciated!
