Located at 409 Beech Street, the Officer Michael Briggs Community Center is a 16,000+ square foot building that is the home of MPAL. The building was purchased by MPAL in 2000 and after a few years of renovation work was opened in 2004. The basement level includes the weight room and the boxing gym. The main level includes locker rooms and the largest open mat area in the state for Judo and wrestling. The building is in the heart of the center city of Manchester making it accessible to all youth, no matter where they live.
In 2015, Building on Hope chose MPAL and the Michael Briggs Community Center as their 2016 site for renovation. Building on Hope allowed MPAL to be transformed and offer better facilities for participants.
